I worked about 5-10 UA9 STW stations this weekend - now EVERY one of them signs Zone 16 !! Great ! It only means that: 1. The cq-contest mailing list is just another mailing list and it is not an operational instrument for the CQ WW DX Contest. Most probably the UA9's are not even awared of its exestence. 2. Maybe these UA9 STW guys simply follow the contest's rules where there is not any partucular clause concerning UA9's in there. 3. And maybe they simply don't even read anything at all and and just follow the status quo established decades ago when all UA9's were considered as located in Asia and in the zone 17. And the main conclusion is, a message posted in an Internet reflector and a correction in a contest logger's configuration file can not solve the problem. 73, Vladimir EU1SA/VE3 _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
