where is your wife in all of this? it is her job to make sure you act sensibly, eat right, don't drink, chase girls, get enough sleep, etc. i keep all pre contest operations down to a minimum, just enough to let you know the equipment and antennas are working. no one is giving you an award for banging away in the days prior to the contest. the pre contest time is for advertisement, for example; WATCH FOR ME!!
