If FD hasn't become a contest, why give out so many points?
Now you get points for sattelite contacts, ;points for having the newspaper
and TV there, points for peddling a bicycle for power, etc, ect. 73

I didn't think FD was a contest, either. In fact, I'm not sure about now,
but previous announcements for Field Day used to say you were supposed to
send in "A list of stations worked." This did not require a complete log to
be sent.
