SO2R with Flex radios is and were quite difficult until few month ago were no
band data were available direct from the radio, and u were to live with the
windows issues. So even the 6700 is an excellent device, have ur contest in the
hand of a PC based radio is not really bulletproof.
Now with the new stand alone 6600M u can save money , space , wiring , without
compromise , even SO2R on Mx setup.
Unfortunately we still need to wait new SSDR version with the multi client
access to one radio, at that time u can replace 3 radios with only un Flex and
will became an easy set , instead of a lot of external devices the u must have
with 2 standard radios.
Let's see what the future will reserve to us ....
