For information -
SD, my HF contest logger, runs on Unix and Windows PCs. It's a
character-based
(Console Window) Win11 program, running under wine/wineconsole on Unix.
I maintain
it on a dual-boot Intel i5 NUC, with Ubuntu and Win11.
Insofar as Chromebook supports Unix, SD is an option - with support for
all the
major contests (including SS), and hundreds of others.
SD is a single-user (unassisted), single-radio CW/SSB app, with
rig-control and
WinKey support. It is up-to date. The manual is a mere 18 pages - from
www.ei5di.com/sd/sd.pdf
Note: Configuring ports for rig-control and WinKey under Unix is not
for Unix
novices.

My very long-time pal, Gary, W1ECH, has a Chromebook laptop and he wants to
operate in SS. I'm looking for suggestions for software that he might use.
Note this thing does not run windows software, sadly.
