With all due respect for our colleague, what was meant as a little joke in my
prior reply has clearly been blown up into something way out of proportion.
My apologies for anyone who was misled into thinking that what was meant to be
a bit of humor was taken as a serious criticism.
But since there is clearly a misunderstanding of my intent amongst at least
some, permit me to clarify my earlier comments...
The suggestion that the solution to finding out if there is an application
available for their hardware/software platform should be to wholesale replace
their hardware, software, or both... without further information and details
regarding the hardware/software platform, if it can be updated, if it is worth
updating, and so forth... should never be accepted at face value without
further research.  Regardless of the source, be it human or otherwise.
So just because someone gets a given response from an application like ChatGPT,
especially if it's a third party making the inquiry who may not have all of the
facts, does not mean that said response is gospel and should be blindly
accepted.
And that is all I am going to add to this discussion.

Interestingly enough, WRL was also one of ChatGPT's suggestions.

So per W3WN we should probably disregard it.
