This is a hobby - a declining hobby. This winter season I have spent very
little time on the radio, much, much less than any previous year. The fun with
this hobby is gone. Yes I will take your advice and move on - on to other
hobbies. Yes I risked my life getting to Kingman Reef. It's now time to
remember the great past times I experienced; the great people I met on the
DX-pedtions, the challenges of building a great home station, and the fun
operating in person as DX, especially as a single op in contests (8P6B, ZF1MM,
J7D, VP2MRA, 3D2DX, VP2V/VE5RA, etc.).

This is a hobby. Should we really expect people to risk their lives?
If you don't like the operation simply don't work it. Just like emails
you don't like. Delete and move on. Nobody is forcing you to work
anything.
