Sounds like the port is dead, however WPII's can do really weird things
sometimes.

As a final resort you can try the following with your PC plugged directly
into the WPII, via Xover cable. This is usually the cure-all for devices
that dont like to respond.
Ensure that your PC is on same subnet as AP,
in dos box type:
arp -s 00-00-00-00-00-00 192.168.1.200   (use the real mac address and IP
address of your WPII here)

try again to config it.

If no go then try the same thing again, but change your PC's IP address to
within the same subnet as the default WPII in forced reload mode
(157.?.?.? - sorry cannot remember the actual address as present)

Put AP in forced reload mode
type arp -s as above but with AP mac and AP forced reload IP this time

if you can still not gain access to the AP, no fear, you can still use it as
a boat-anchor.
