We use MRTG to graph signal/noise and traffic in/out on every piece of
hardware we have - including all our KN-100/200 boards that we use as
the
CPE.

Yes I too agree that SNMP management across the board would be a plus.
I am still working on developing a reliable and stable way to
graph and log signal strengths, errors, packets per hour, etc. (a.k.a
true network "health") across my network and once I reach a nice medium
in design I am sure the extra snmp management at the "edge" would be a
plus.
I am working in Linux, which is a negative only because the
current set-up and config/ management programs I have run in Windows,
and apart from using WINE to run them on a linux machine, I am still in
the process of adopting the management server into a linux format. (I
have heard of a JAVA based config program, still researching)I have been
using MRTG to piece together the system's attributes, including
graphing.
(NOTE: If anyone can tell me the specific SNMP value(s) Karlnet
uses to remote open a link test with the initiator, I would be most
appreciative. No word back from Karlnet themselves on that one, but I
don't mind, I will find it one way or another.)

I agree in terms of dhcp and nat on the KN50. I just wish it could
support
snmp so we could use Configurator across the board to manage the
network.
