SOLAR FLARES : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM : Active conditions expected (A>=20 or K=4)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet
PREDICTIONS FOR 23 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 094 / AP: 008
PREDICTIONS FOR 24 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 089 / AP: 012
PREDICTIONS FOR 25 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 087 / AP: 024
COMMENT: Solar activity is very low and will probably decay further as
the last two active regions on the disc rotate behind the west limb. A
period without flares (at least >C class) is upcoming. A huge filament
is currently visible on the disc. The solar wind is currently at 380
km/s but is expected to rise under the influence of an approaching
coronal hole. Active geomagnetic conditions are thus possible from
Thursday (Feb 25) onwards.
