SOLAR FLARES : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM : Quiet (A<20 and K<4)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet
PREDICTIONS FOR 24 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 083 / AP: 006
PREDICTIONS FOR 25 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 081 / AP: 010
PREDICTIONS FOR 26 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 081 / AP: 021
COMMENT: Only two small new sunspot groups are now present on the solar
disk. They are not expected to produce more than isolated C flares. The
solar activity is thus expected to remain low over the coming 3-day
period.
The solar wind remains at a fairly low speed of about 400km/s, with a
positive Bz. Geomagnetic conditions have thus been quiet. They are
expected to remain quiet to unsettled over the next 48 hours.
Thereafter, the influence of a low-latitude coronal hole now passing the
solar central meridian is expected to cause active conditions during a
few days.
