Be sure the antenna isn't mounted on something such as a pipe
that is connected to the house ground. I had the same problem
once with a six meter antenna mounted on an evaporative cooler.
I had thought the metal of the cooler would provide a good
ground, which it did, but it also picked up small amounts of RFI
present on the mains ground.
