Is it perhaps just the computer monitor that's making the noise? If so,
there's not much you can do about it.
By the way, Staples.com has a very quiet 17" monitor on sale this week
for $80, after rebate, with free shipping. It's the Envision EN-710. I'm
not sure if it's available in the brick and mortar stores at that price.
