references on Bush's support. There are plenty of them.
Hate to get political here on RFI. I am a complete supporter of Bush,
but I even must concede based on everything I have read from the white
house on BPL, Bush was most definitely pushing this and the white house
must've convinced the NTIA to do a 180 degree change of position on it
even though their final phase I technical report did not support such a
change and still called for banning BPL on "Federal freqs" due to
interference potential. Bush appointed Kathleen "BPL Nirvana" Abernathy
who along with Chairman Powell (Clinton appointee) both were the most
active "cheerleaders" for BPL and got the ball rolling.
