Completely agree. Next door neighbors have a large plasma inside their
family room about 75 feet from my shack and more than 125 feet from the
antenna. I can watch them turn it on and instantly I have a horrible FM
frequency varying noise, S2 to S9 about every 15 kc's from 80 through 10
meters...and they would have to be in the North direction of course. Gawd
awful! Don't know how these can ever pass testing standards.

What ever you do, do not, do not, do not buy a plasma tv of any kind. I
moved to the county of 5 acres to get away from a Samsung 50 inch plasma
within 30 feet of my house, a plasma down the block, one behind me about
300 feet. noise, noise, noise every where.

In general, most plasmas generate bad RFI (that cannot be corrected) and
most LCDs do not. I've never seen a report of a problematic Sony LCD, and

like my 3 year old XBR. At least one of the major Korean brands also has

good track record, don't recall which, and the other one is mostly good.
