Tom and RFI guys, One other trick that may be available to you with your spectrum analyzer is to sync the sweep with the line frequency. Most analyzers have this capability. Its just marked "Line" in the sweep section on my HP analyzer. This should keep the peaks your seeing from moving on the screen if the interference is at the line rate.
