During the last two years, when I was on many busines trips and had
to kill my free time in the evenings, I played with my laptop and
have started something like a "World Rank List"; just for my own fun.
This list is based on the official results of 16 RTTY DX contest.
Meanwhile this list shows about 1200+ different callsigns.
The contests in the List are:
BARTG Sprint, XE, WPX, BARTG Spring, EA, SP, ARI, VOLTA, ANARTS, UA,
SARTG, SCC, WW, JARTS, WAE and OK. The main source for the results
is the "NRJ" Web site http://www.rttyjournal.com/contests/index.htm
I am not running a web site and don't have the plan to do it in the
near future, but if anyone else want to host on his web site this
"World Rank List", including some information about it, then I would
be glad to provide this list and send updates, when new contest
results are available.
Please see the "Basic Rules" of the "WRL" at the end of this e-Mail.

Basic Rules of the SOAB DX RTTY World Rank List: "WRL"
# Every typical DX Contest is in the WRL, if ..
1. everyone can work everyone
2. a minimum of 24 hour operating time for a single operator is
allowed
3. the contest has one or more "Single Operator All Band" (SOAB)
category resp. categories.
# Only the participants shown in the official results in the SOAB
category of a contest are in the WRL; never claimed scores lists!
# Only the latest available official results are in the WRL.
# The results must be available for free as plain text files or any
other format, which can be converted in plain text format without
any problems. Results printed on paper only will not be accepted.
# For some contests two or more result lists are merged into one list
by score. I.e. the "SP DX": The SP-calls and none-SP-calls are merged
into one list, sorted by scores, for this particular contest.
# The WRL is based on callsigns (i.e. "DK3VN") and not on operators
name (i.e. "Waldemar Kebsch"). If one operator uses different callsigns,
in different contests, then this will lead to two or more entries
in the WRL.
# Results of portable stations and semi-portable stations are counting
for the home callsign (i.e. DK3VN/p => DK3VN, W7TI/6 => W7TI).
Stations, which are portable in an other "DXCC-Country" than their
"Home-DXCC-Country" don't earn WRL-points for their home callsign.
# Every participant in a contest earns WRL-points, based on his rank
and his score in this particular contest.
# A contest with a lot of participants has more weight than one with
a few. A contest with many participants generates more WRL points
for each callsign than a contest with less participants.
# The WRL is sorted by the total of WRL-points per callsign.
