Spent almost all the Saturday fixing antennas broken by a recent windstorm.
Back to my shack late afternoon decided to check the refreshened antennas in
the contest running full speed by this time (around 20.00 UTC). It looks
like I've missed a great event being a propagation blackout... :-)
Yes, I missed it but I have to admit, something like a polar flatter was
heard even on 80 m that night (Yes, I wear headphones even on RTTY)...
1. Highlights:
- J8PA called Sunday morning
- lots of familiar call-signs
- VU2WAP joined the club
2. Lowlights: more and more stations are repeating my exchange likely to
reconfirm it. Gents, please don't!!! The only thing you are producing by
that is a MESS!!!
