Yes, of course you're absolutely correct. Everyone would probably agree.
However, getting the ARRL, CQ or other big contest sponsor to even begin
to consider such a sensible change is like pulling elephant's teeth or
getting congress to pass a constitutional change.. i.e, not likely in
our life time.
