That is what I call operator experience and skill, OT :-).

What I am opposed to is that people are using a computer database to  
provide that information, which neutralizes your time-honed skills.

The question is what are we competing on?  If contests are won and  
lost because of different software, then send the plaques to the  
software authors, please.

An interesting question to ponder is: (a) use N watts with a contest  
logger, (b) use 1500 watts but have to go back to hand logging and  
dupe checking.  What is break even point for N?

You can even rate contest loggers as gain in dB relative to manual  
logging. :-).
