The quote was from my email.  It is a signature.  I just changed it.  I
failed to space between my post and the one I was responding to so the quote
and the previous message all ran together.

This was the first time anyone said anything negative about the signature.
Heck some folks would not be happy to be hung with a new rope either. :)

Anyone seen any sunspots?

OK, please explain the purpose. I'm open to new things that I don't
understand. I read a post and then all of a sudden I'm reading a Ben
Franklin quote without a gap and I get confused. Is it really part of RTTY
or a neat thing that seems to be the in thing now a days? No reason to get
offensive, I'm just trying to understand the practical purpose of the quote
and how do I do that without asking?
