Why do so many stations take so long to switch from RX to TX ???

I found many guys coming back to me after I waited 1.5-2 secs with no response
and sent it again. This was OK if they sent N6PE 599 03 CA N6PE because I would
see my call after my repeat stopped.

Calling CQ a had auto repeat set to 2.8 sec and still had guys (maybe gals too)
coming back after the repeat started.... ESC key was wearing out...

Another comment..... after the exchange it helps band sweepers if you send TU
N6PE or QSL N6PE instead of N6PE TU or N6PE QSL because they can move as soon
as they see the T or the Q

Please never curse the casual operators that send THANKS FOR THE CONTACT AND
GOOD LUCK IN THE CONTEST, they might be in SD/ND hi hi

Rick, N6PE

Remember, E = M * C^2 was not the entire equation.
