Hi dick This is probably like asking, "Which is better, a Ford or Chevy" :-) I think the best hardware TU that was ever built was the ST-6. I used the ST-5 and ST-6 and the '6 used to copy stuff I could hardly hear with my ears. That was a great unit. 73 Tom W7WHY This begs an interesting question (interesting to me, anyway): Is there a widely accepted best hardware RTTY decoder? (Computer software and radio left out of the equation for the moment)?
