I am thinking of a combo, tablet and computer. There are several
manufactures that run WIN 8. The RT version is not what I am after for the
wife.

The tablets run on WinRT a variant of Win 8 and none of your current windows
software will run on it from what I have seen.

All interfaces require a driver of some kind and Windows 8 (or some of the
OEM versions of Windows 8) has broken several of the hardware drivers.
Windows 8 is the new "Vista" and will have corporations scrambling to retain
Windows 7.
