Hi Paul,
I have just tried the 100uF capacitor across the reset line modification and
that seems to iron out any wiggling of the reset line so my Winkey clone is now
detected. Will do some further testing once the capacitor is soldered in place.
CWDTRON and KEYDTRON etc did not seem to sort it out.
The Winkey clone is using software written by K3NG and it is excellent.

Yes, V18.21 is 18 months old, and there's been many
changes in the meantime, including some of the code
relating to WinKey.
SD V19.22 works reliably with original WinKey units.
With WinKey clones, some experimentation with
parameters may be needed.
Please try these commands
CWDTRON & CWDTROFF - toggle DTR on the CW port
CWRTSON & CWRTSOFF - toggle RTS on the CW port
The default is OFF for both DTR and RTS as they
are not needed by WinKey, but one (or both) may
be needed for WinKey clones.
In any case, it's clear that I need to integrate
these functions into the SETUP command for WinKey.
