You may be right.  This is a hp PSC500, one of those copier/scanner/printer
units and the driver may just not have that feature.

I'd print it on my LaserJet but then no color.  Maybe I'll try the Staples
bit myself.

I have an HP3200 LaserJet and an HP 1220 DeskJet on this particular computer
and both are able to zoom the image before printing.  I don't think it has
to do with inkjet vs. laserjet, but probably the specific printer and its
driver.  I would bet that Staples, where Tod was printing the manual, has a
new enough printer that has the zoom feature.  It's just a matter of getting
the operator to adjust it ... if they know how.
