[TenTec] Omni-V sick from pc

I hate to say it, but I can't say. I've agreed not to discuss the software
beyond it being a logging program still in test fase. It has nothing to do
with the problem though.
Its got to be WIndows 98 sending something to the port when the machine goes
south.
