I used the RS headphones for a little over a year. I didn't really find them
comfortable for extended wear. I wear glasses and the headphones would
uncomfortably press the temple pieces into the side of my head. One day the
headband suffered a catastrophic non-linear discontinuation the same as
described below.
I bought the $19.99 MFJ headphones. I find them quite comfortable to wear
for extended periods, and the audio is fine for my somewhat uneducated ears.
I think they are great for the price, and one of the things that MFJ did
right.
