j, I like my Pegasus and I bought it because of the low price and the
Ten Tec name. I had a 509 QRP rig and modified it to improve preformance.
I can see where the Pegasus could be easily improved, but with all this
DSP and surface mount parts it is not easy to change. Now that I know the
limitations of the Pegasus, I would be willing to pay more for improved
preformance. I would not have paid more when I first bought it.
A 250B network analyser used to measure crystals that, I helped design,
costs $4500.00 in the USA. Most radio amateurs would not be willing to
pay that much.

Ten Tec needs to make a profit.
