Dave,

If a hand mike was included with the Jupiter or any other TT rig, the price
would have to be higher. Some CW ops NEVER use a mike, some prefer a
special desk mike, and some like myself use a headset 99% of the time. I do
use a hand mike for a backup, and for mobile operating.
