[TenTec] OMNI series C

I have here in my hand a Ten Tec ad from QST some time ago listing the 
"OMNI series C" transceiver for sale.  (73 Magazine November 1980)
Who knows why the name is so important.  When I look inside my OMNI C 
and inside an OMNI-D series B, it is much the same rig, nearly identical.
I hold on to one myself, even though I rarely use it these days.  Fine 
radio in a pinch.  I drooled over them back in 1980, but I bought the 
Triton IV.
