Interesting. I can hear some "ringy" signal on Ft1k snapshot. But to me FT1k 
sounds a bit more comfortable. 
Turning preamp on on Orion should help the noisy situation. Try it without 
preamp and also weaker signals. This signal was stil "armchair" copy. 
If I remember Ft1k wasn't on the top of the K6SE heap. He had K2 as the best 
and then modified MKV.
