I think the magnetic have a more crisp feel - I like the code warrior by
Vibroplex which cost $99 and has a good feel - It is nicer than the Norcal
because the paddles are closer together, and the finish is much nicer. I
think you would be well pleased.

Hello all !  I am looking to get a new set of paddles I am tired of my
crappy mfj paddle.  can any one tell me the difference between a spring
action and the magnetic action .  I like the kent model and I may get one if
the magnetic action is not a poor design .  thanks for your input .     John
