Yes, U of D is a great value and a very nice deal compared with other
accommodations in the area. The suite is $80/night or $20 per bed, no
tax, no other fee.
I booked two suites early because seven of my radio students committed
to going several months ago. Turns out the local HS recently scheduled
an affair to honor a few of the group this coming weekend. The suite is
still available!

so per night. That's not per bed, so when you figure the cost for the
weekend split four ways, it comes out a heck of a lot better than
NoTell, er, Motel 6... and the rooms are much nicer. I think this is
the fifth or sixth year my group has been going to the dorms, and I'd
sure hate to go back to the cheapie motels again!
Oh, if anyone else on the list will be hanging around the U of D on
Friday night, maybe we can all get together for a beer or whatever
nearby (However, there's a certain bar/restaurant about a mile off
campus that you need to stay away from... I don't want to mention names,
but the owner is an ex-boxer who's other claim to fame is being written
up in the old detective magazines as being one of a dozen men married to
the same black widow, or something like that).
