I Agree with Bill.

TT did not come out too early. Prior releases worked beautifuly if you knew the AGC systems. Later releases simplified the AGC systems, Yet I still preferr the fine control and still use it.

Many people like working with cutting edge technology, those of us used to that, know that as long as the vendor supports the product. The odds are good you will have the upper hand in difficult contest or DX hunting situations.

I'd rather Use the Radio and get the benifits. Waiting for the 'perfect' radio, that never seems to come along just keeps me on the sidelines.

We got the 'introductory' price for the 'highest' performance radio on the market. I wonder if the 10K rigs perform as well as our 3K rigs? I wonder how many contacts I was able to 'make' where the others could not. For contesters and DX Hunters, Isn't that the bottom line?

Bottom line; I disagree that TT came out with the Orion "too early".
They may have announced it "too early" but I for one would have missed a
lot had I not purchased mine when I did....and am very happy for it.
