Thanks for the RF on mic input. I have found out that my headphones are a little on the ragged side, audio wise, when the beam is pointed directly over the house. I would have thought 150 feet away and only 1KW wouldn't affect my headphones? I do have a box that converts the stereo audio output of the O2 to mono. Can't use stereo with only one working ear and TT says that must be done to avoid damage to the O2's audio section! Maybe I still need a couple of .01 caps and a ground lead on that bud box. I do have ferrite coils on the leads. In any event a few more days of testing is needed to see if the RF in mic problem is totally solved.
I never had these problems when I ran Icom's.
