I am also a happy O1 owner. At first, I was put off by the slow band scan. But in contest use, nothing comes close. I love my Kenwood TS-870 and went back to that for one contest -- heard noise I had never noticed before. Yet the Orion can hear DX on 160 meters between 50-over-9 signals 1KHz away!
