Got my O2 this past spring, as a companion to a MarkV Field ( roofing and pr. of 400hz INRADS). Most of my operating is 160M. In this past Stew Perry, I worked a 9A, just above noise level, in a slot of about 200 cycles ( ahhh...hertz) between two stateside CQ'ers, each S9+ +. A little plus cut, a little minus cut, BW minimum. The Field is used strictly as an intermedate way station for my T-shirts over by the dresser. If only the NB:H didn't imprint the noise back into the passband when strong signals are around, I'd call it damn well close to perfect. Paul WB2ABD |
