Where I see the potential personally is when I have to move from my  
QTH and into some retirement or
assisted living facility.  I'm in a CCnR neighborhood now (although  
expiring in two years!!!) with limitations,
but an apartment in a "retirement" community will provide even more  
challenges.  A remote transceiver
and antenna would allow me to continue HF hamming.
