[TenTec] Logging/Control for Omni VII?

Folks,

I understand that the Omni 7 (and Jupiter) use a different character 
format on the serial interface than earlier TT equipment. Have folks 
found logging and control s/w that works in this environment. I'm not 
sure if this is an issue, but I've seen a number of program web pages 
that don't metion either radio on their supported radio list.
