One reason... If the radio was doing what it needs to do, correctly.. no
firmware upgrade needed. Like in the old days before firmware.. it had to be
right
in the hardware. Now Mfg's ( lot's of items you buy) have the luxury of
fixing it later...
It's ok to have issues, wait patiently to get them fixed for free by the Mfg.
I'm dealing with the same kind of issues right now on my PRO level electronic
keyboard ($3500.00). It's by Korg out of Italy.. great product with some
bugs. It's only been out 5 months... they are woking on many ssues as we speak.
Free updates everytime they announce one. All us owners are cool with it
because
they are in fact making great progress with the updates.
Same difference here...except no recent progress.
