I might as well jump into this pool.

  If I remember correctly, what was given to us from TT was a 
development list containing a list of possible options.  It was also 
stated that the first of this list, essentially Ver 1.29 plus keyboard 
support and cw decode was being gone over for issues.  The next follow 
on was to be support for the new screen for existing Jupiters (raise 
hand...Me...ME Please call on ME).

I haven't seen anything that says that they will not release the first 
feature set if they are that close to releasing the new (Black)Jupiter. 
  They apparently have cw decode on display.  It is reasonable to guess 
that what they refer to as being delayed .... is development of the 
other features mentioned as possible, PSK support etc.

I don't know// I think that TT doing bread and butter work is in our 
best interests as well.

So that's my 2 (maybe 3 1/2) cents of this issue.  Settle down and let 
them do what they have to do and we will be rewarded by improvement in a 
  great little transceiver.
