What I said about laptop power supplies was:

"Watch out for RF noise from these things.
You may be batter off with a plain non-switched mode wall wart."

Ron noticed that I misspelled "better". Thanks Ron, that is very helpful. Since I never write emails about cooking or baseball, I will see if I can delete "batter" from my spell checking dictionary, to prevent that terrible mistake from happening again.

Ron also misinterpreted my warning about RF noise from lap top power supplies to mean I was saying that no lap top power supply should ever be used. What I really meant was that since some lap top power supplies generate RF noise, no kind of AC mains derived power supply of any kind should ever be used by anybody for any purpose.
