Thanks every one for your input. Interesting all the different ones hams are using. Today I ordered an inexpensive pair of on the ear noise canceling head phones from Noisebuster. If these do not work out I will have to dig into the tin can I buried in the back yard and buy those 300 buck ones from Bose. I miss those old Navy head set phones. Talked to my son at Ft. Bliss, he will be heading to Iraq at the end of the month, he said they used Noisebuster PA4200 or PA4000. He was not specific on what application they used them on. He is with the MP Company.
