You're welcome. I have the dead receiver problem, too, but transmitting into a dummy load for a few seconds on the affected band always corrects it.

The pots on my Paragon periodically become scratchy and need to be cleaned. I think that Ten Tec just used cheap pots in the Paragon. Really good potentiometers like the old Allen Bradley, Clarostat, and Centralab are hard to find, especially in a miniature size.

THANKS MUCH for posting this! Last night I was able to get a little Deoxit into the RF gain pot but was really struggling with how I was going to access the other pots. This will make it much easier and I really appreciate it!
