FYI: There are also conduit pull tapes that are woven with wires that are useful for antennas. The big advantage with these is they are about 3/4" wide and will easily take 1000 lbs of pull since they are designed for high loads. The wires in them are used to stop pulling winches when a certain amount of stretch has occurred, thus avoiding breakage.

But the web is the strength, not the wire. Just the opposite of flinging
up an antenna made of twinlead where there's much more wind area than
conductor.

I've seen them used before, but they're not a great stealth antenna simply
because they (the wires) are made to be seen by horses.

The extra wind loading could prove interesting in engineering a way to keep the
antenna up.

That's an electric horse fence antenna. These were being sold at
Dayton. The straps are used to make electric fences for horses. The
advantage as a fence is that they are much stronger and more visible.
They are woven wire and fabric.
