I agree that it is needed and I will DRILL A HOLE and make my own.
For those of you who do not wish to do that, you can buy this feature in an
external box from both MFJ and DX-Engineering for about $100. Plug and play.

Does anyone have a good theory on why there's no rx antenna input on
the Eagle?
Seems like there's more low band interest than ever, etc and Ten-Tec
seems to have regularly provided one on past hf rigs. It seems a
natural for the Eagle and all the competing rigs all offer rx ant
input as well.
