Sidebar --Amen... tube amps rule. Much warmer, fuller sound. I do not know why, but you get the same effective volume from a 40 watts tube amp as you do with 80 watts of solid state amp. I cannot explain why, but its one of those great paradoxes of life. My black and silver TT and Palstar ham gear looks perfect next to my black face Fender Super Reverb reissue. Beauty. Oh.... sorry for drifting off topic... but this is the other hobby I do the shack....
