Thanks John WA9AQN, Jerry N9AW, and Duane for your feedback on an external keyer for the Omni. I appreciate your ideas and thoughts; the Idiom press keyers get great reviews on E Ham and the K1EL (WKUSB) likewise. Of course so does the Begali CW Machine, but at a much higher price. The K1EL (WKUSB) in kit form is $79 and that is attractive; I am not much of a builder, but did manage to build my Elecraft K-1 and the Pico keyer. I am gravitating toward the K1EL because like the Begali CW Machine, it can be used with a computer for logging and it is on budget. Has anyone used the K1EL WKUSB for their keyer? At any rate thanks for the info and best of 73s - Roger Rippy W7RIP Bozeman, MT |
