FAR Circuits still offers their "RF Proof 30 A Power Supply" regulator board. It's only the PCB -- you need to find the parts and stuff the board. It's based on an article in the 1988 ARRL Handbook. I built one for my 30 A Astron PS when I learned that it was extremely susceptible to RFI. I could never get this regulator to act up. I made mine over 20 y ago and it still works just fine. However, it (obviously) applies only to linear supplies. A scan of the article may be found at http://www.iv3gfn.altervista.org/pdf/rfproof.pdf Kim N5OP _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
